We partnered with the @ourselvespodcast led by @arrad to build a platform for honest creative conversations, capturing the work, decisions, and discipline behind the people shaping culture. What began as a series of conversations has grown into a living archive, designed to value depth over noise and longevity over moments.
“An irreplaceable, end-to-end creative partner.”
Cordia is a creative powerhouse for creator-founders, with teams in New York and Seoul.
We help creatives and the companies they build translate what they know into work that is strategically grounded, narratively distinct, and made to compound.
From founding brand systems to long-term production partnerships, our systems prove that story and scale can coexist.
From channel architecture to the scripts themselves, we turn a point of view into a body of work, and keep refining it until it lands.
This fall, Emmy-winning journalist and filmmaker Johnny Harris is launching a six-part docuseries on YouTube.
It’s called The Human Element, in which Harris will be travelling the world to tell global stories from a grounded, human perspective.
Unlike most documentaries, rather than transferring the show to a streaming platform or television network, Harris is keeping it on YouTube where his eight million subscribers already reside. That decision was influenced by his admission into the selective YouTube Creator Shows slate.
In Johnny’s Press Publish LA interview, he mentioned how the series marks a transition from his previous rapid posting to high-budget show development.
And YouTube, which previously only rewarded the former, is empowering Harris to make that transition while staying on their platform.
Harris’s docuseries is rewriting the creator filmmaker’s end goal.
We’ve already seen it with Curry Barker’s Obsession and Kane Parsons’s Backrooms. The model has always been, “get big enough on YouTube to get off of it.”
However, YouTube is providing Johnny Harris both the infrastructure to gain network-grade distribution without ever leaving.
Not only does this signify how highly YouTube perceives Harris, but it also hints at how it’s quietly trying to rebrand its public perception.
YouTube used to be the place everybody left. Now it’s becoming the destination.
It’s hard to replicate what Johnny Harris is building, and that’s exactly why The Human Element is so special.
However, Johnny’s transition is the replicable signal. The ceiling for independent YouTube filmmakers has skyrocketed.
When you choose curated creativity and craft over algorithm optimization, Harris proved that YouTube is willing to give you everything any mainstream platform can just to make you stay.
Slowing down to build something of true quality is no longer a career death sentence. In fact, it might be the way up.
We partnered with Instagram Rings winner @omgadrian to build a platform for honest creative conversations - with creators who've gone the distance. What began as a series of conversations has grown into a living archive of leading creators speaking honestly about confidence, voice, and what it truly takes to show up on camera.
“Supercharged my workflow.”
Throughout the past decade, @colinandsamir have established themselves as the definitive voice of the creator economy. We've now partnered with them to shape their short form presence. The mandate was singular: extract the core insight from each conversation and compress it into moments that travel, without losing the unique perspective that makes them worth watching.
